Sadashiva Stavrum is a Svastha Āchārya who specializes in making the benefits of Āyurveda accessible to millennials. He understands that making the right choices for health can sometimes be confusing and works with clients to find realistic and effective ways to improve daily habits.

Sadashiva is a practicing Āyurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) and a devoted
student of yoga and tantra. Sadashiva's journey began after the death of his mother
and the realization that the pursuit of a career in music was no longer where his heart was. Soon after, he began to realize that Yoga provided him with a path forward.

In 2009, he met his primary teacher Shambhavi Sarasvati who teaches in the traditions of Trika Shaivism, Dzogchen, and the teachings of Anandamayi Ma. After extensive studies and travels with Shambhavi he was initiated into the tradition and given the name Sadashiva which means 'eternally Shiva.'

After several unsuccessful attempts to heal a chronic physical condition through Western and other Complementary medicines, Sadashiva was introduced to Āyurveda and was able to incorporate it into his daily life. Over the course of five years, his physical ailments completely resolved and Sadashiva was smitten with the science. In 2015, he enrolled and completed the Kripalu School of Ayurveda's Āyurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) program.

Upon completion of the program, he started Happy Life Ayurveda, a small clinical practice based in Portland, Maine. Through Happy Life Ayurveda, Sadashiva conducts educational seminars and regularly consults with clients. He continues to study and practice with his teacher Shambhavi. Sadashiva brings a healthy, practical perspective of Āyurveda to students at ĀYU Academy. He skillfully combines classical knowledge and theory with practical application in Western culture.
